The simulation of volume optimization for a bridge with intermediate supports is presented bellow. The structure is loaded with statically forces in upper nodes. In the same manner it is possible to use mobile loads. The animation bellow is built using the initial state and iterations: 1, 3, 6, 8 and 11.

A special problem in optimization is eigenvectors and eigenvalues optimization. Bellow, we optimized for buckling a 3D truss column in mode 7. Here are presented the shape of structure from initial state to iteration 4. This example show an in confoundable shape which could be founded in Constantin Brancusi sculptures. You have to decide if is about a simple mathematical coincidence or a relieved low of Nature...

- The software is a native Windows, multi window application.
- Imports files from AutoCAD, Revit Structure, Robot Structural Analysis
- Imported files contain informations about the element's material, geometry, reinforcement and forces.
- Visual verification and examination of the solid model to verify the accuracy of the section's representation
- Open *xml format allows the user to input data using this types of files. The *.xml contains the element's material, geometry, reinforcement and forces. The simplest way to generate an *.xml file is using Excel or OpenOffice applications
- Manual input of the forces using the Capacity check window
- Calculus of multiple files.
- Graphical and tabular reports.
- Measuring units: the international system and the imperial system.
- Language support: Romanian, English and French.

In this example a reticular truss roof if optimized to the maximum rigidity on vertical direction. The steel structure is loaded in upper nodes with concentrated loads. The initial shape of structures together with the iterations: 20, 40 and 80 are presented bellow.

The software allow user to calculate the ultimate strength of arbitrary cross-section with simple or complex geometry, including one or many materialsThe software provides the following diagrams: σ-ε material diagram, M/N diagram, Mx/My diagram, ε(x) diagram, σ(x) diagram, Mφ(x)α diagram , Mφ(y)α diagram. The geometric and static properties for the whole section are provided, and afterwards separately for the tensile and the compressed parts of the object. The properties include moments of inertia, static moments, radiuses of gyration, resistance modulus etc.The materials are listed in a database, both concrete and reinforcement and also their main properties. The database can be easily modified for the user's preferences. The material database provides a list of materials and their properties according to the input file. The data is different for every international or national standard. Epsilon diagram in cross section
