An uniform loaded concrete solid beam show the Altiscad Optimizer capacity to optimize volume for solid finite elements. By optimization, the bottom side of the beam is arc-shaped taking into consideration the evolution of internal tensions. In this example it was defined also some structural restrictions to limit the maximum allowed stresses. The initial state and iterations: 2, 7, 14 are presented bellow.
